Hi, Ive always had big boobs and started developing when I was around 11. From the age of 16 to 22 (my age now) I have varied from an 32F cup up to a 32G cup, I personally think this may have something to do with the contreceptive pill, but doctors and nurses have said otherwise. Anyway, I have been trying so hard over the years to come to terms with the fact that I have big boobs and to try and get used to them but now I have decided enough in enough and I shouldnt have to live with them. I have spent god knows how much money on bras/sports bras and bikinis and I am just sick of it. I am spending a lot of money on trying to get supportive bras but when I put them on they make me feel physically repulsed as they make me look frumpy and old. I am always so uncomfortable, especially at night and I always have to wear a bra to bed as I cant stand my boobs flopping about everywhere but the bra straps irritate me and the wires dig in underneath my boobs, lying on my back I find it difficult to breathe because of the weight and pressure on my chest. I find it difficult to exercise and have tried sports bras but I find that they make it difficult to breathe and I also get really bad back pains after exercising. I always wear a bra and sometimes especially when I am on my period when my boobs are more tender I have to wear a bikini in the shower. As I am getting older my boobs are beginning to sag which is making them more uncomfortable and causing more pain. I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years and I hate him to see me without a bra, I get embarrased and feel ashamed and paranoid that my boobs repulse him. No matter how much he tries to convince me that he likes my boobs it doesnt help because I hate them soo much.

Sorry for the rant! I have just booked a doctors appointment for next week to speak to my GP and to see if there is any way of getting the reduction on the NHS, worth a try but I doubt I will be an ideal candidate. I just needed to speak to people who are feeling the same way as me as no one really seems to understand.

    Any advice would be great

    Thanks xxx

hi ally, i’m sure there will be somebody on here who might be able to offer some advise hun. Most of us have not got any boobs, and dream of huge boobs…. but I guess the grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence. Good luck with your GP – don’t really know about getting a reduction on the NHS, but keep us informed hun x

Thanks Tammy, I noticed there was a reduction forum on here which is why I posted this, just to try and speak to some people who have had or are considering having it done. I know there are so many girls who want surgery to enlarge there breasts but its so different when they are natural as you can imagine nature does take its course and they do start to sag which is when the issues of pain begin to get worse. My boobs make me feel old and frumpy and I am only 22. Thanks for your response though, I guess its similar to most of you even though its going the opposite way its still that we are all unhappy with our boobs! xx

I went to my GP and he said my boobs were not big enough to warrant a NHS job! Im sooooo disapointed I can never afford 5-6 grand so Im stuck! Hope you fare better, keep me informed and good luck x

Hi, I had a breast reduction almost 2 yrs ago, I was a 32 j, same as Jordan but shame I didn’t look like her ! I went down to a d, it’s really more like a c. I wish I had asked for an e, and explained that I wanted them to look fuller. However I’m so pleased that I have got rid of most of the back ache, sweaty boobs etc, that I would do it all over again.

My friends girlfriend has just had her’s reduced on the nhs. If it’s causing health problems the nhs will do it for you. Just make sure you tell the doc how uncomfortable you are with them and back ache etc. xxx
