Hey hunny it is common with surgery. I didnt have constipation…I got the bloating big style, I’ve still got a bit now to be honest! Watch the antibiotics though, it can give you things down below…get the canestan at the ready my love!! All these things are normal, just the process with the medicine! x x x
A lot of the bloating is actually swelling! Especially under your ribs at the top of your belly will seem tender! Cos the swelling makes its way down your body so i found it started with a swollen tummy, then the sides of my lower back felt tender then it just goes. You wake up on day 5 and it should all be gone! Its a horrible feeling cos even trying to breathe in and keep your tummy flat is uncomfortable to do! But just drink a pint of water each hour to flush all the toxins out of your body; eat brown bread, beans and high fibre cereal to keep you going to the loo and gentle walking helps draw the swelling away too
Im day 10 post op and back to my pre op weight and my stomach is flat and perfect again! Find some baggy hoodies to wear and try not to think about it too much.
You know when you’ve had a really hefty meal and your tummy is bulging but when you wake up in the morning your tummy is flat cos the food all digested thru the night… when you wake up with that full belly look! But its worth it for 5 days if you get the boobs of your dreams!

The painkillers hold a lot of water and can bloat your stomach too. I didnt take any cos i had no pain so if you can go without you should. x

The constipation is caused by the painkillers, if you dont need them i recommend not taking them. Eat plenty of fruit and drink loads, as missmck said plenty of fibre. I took the ibuprofen as it is also an anti-flammatory, and just took the cocodamol before bed and if i needed them when i got up, gradually lowered it each day, i also took senakot comfort twice a day and ate prunes once or twice, and drank pure orange with bits in warmed up (a friend of mine recommended it). It was about day 5 that i first went again. xx
Thank you for all the advice girls so glad im not on my own, looking pregnant is not a look I wanna get used to lol xx
