Consultation booked for Thursday Evening

Hi Everyone, wanna say 1st how refreshing this forum is, I’ve literally just made an account because of all the positivity and support everyone gives each other 🙂

I’ve got my 1st consultation on Thursday at the Manchester Clinic,

Just wanted to see if there were any tips / questions I should ask at this stage or if the consultant will cover everything?

Hi Chelsea, thanks, yeh i’m carrying around a notebook and pen just incase something springs to mind randomly! Its with the PC, i’ve booked to see a few other companies but my gut is already saying Mya just from reviews etc.

I noticed on your profile you’re really similar size etc to me and have gone for a size i think I’m looking to go for too! How are you getting on with yours so soon after the op?

Lol, i’d never even heard of MYA, someone told me about them so i joined this to see other girls opinions etc, never thought i’d be brave enough to go through with it but its helped me so much! I only had my consultation on 23rd feb & my ops on 1st april so from start to finish only taken about 6 weeks! Xx

Welcome to the forum, there’s a great bunch of girls here, helped me through my wobbles!! x

If it’s just with your PC she will basically run through what type of implants they use and let you have a feel of some of the sizes. She’ll give you a sports bra to try some implants so you can see the size.

Google pictures of boobies you like/want and take them with you – she will then recommend the best surgeon for the look you want!

Get as much paperwork as possible to do your homework!

@rosao I had mine done last Tuesday so feel free to add me, I’ve had similar to @chelsea10 as well. Have you checked out the boobie bible on this forum hun? It takes you through what happens at each stage from initial consultation all the way to the aftercare it included what to ask at each stage as well! X

@jennifer1990 Wow! That’s so soon! I do like how quickly it seems to move though, potentially I could hope for end of April / early May which would work great for me 🙂

I noticed you said your an “empty” B – thats kind of how mine feel too due to weight loss – is an implant enough to make them fuller / perkier or have you been advised about lifts etc. too?

@tasha-c123 Thanks, I see you had Dr Traynor too – from what i’ve read i think he would be a great option for me, i heard he’s very much to the point and straight talking! How did you get on with him? Yep just looking at the Booby Bible now its great 🙂

@rosao he is good and he’s very work-proud so he wouldn’t do anything that wouldn’t look good on you. He was firm and straight talking (but funny!) at my consultation, very black and white, but on the day of the op I was quite scared beforehand so he was lovely and gentle and reassuring, I knew I was in good hands. I’ve just accepted your friend request hun, feel free to look at my photos im trying to keep up with putting one up everyday so i can see how much they are changing. I’m one week post op today and starting to be happy with them x

@rosao no I don’t need an uplift, I think you only need uplifts if you have lots of sagging and your nipples do not sit high on your breasts, i.e. if they’re pointing to the floor you’d need a lift!

@tasha-c123 Wow, yours look great! For some reason I imagined there would be much more bruising, but they look amazing. What cup size were you aiming for?

@tracyface Ahh right thats good, i was thinking i’d have to have a lift! But i hear if you go for high profile they can feel more lifted. yeh if you dont mind sending the pics that would be great 🙂

@rosao Thanks huni! I was aiming for a full c or a d, tried on a 32c today though and my boobs were too big for it! I have my strips off tomorrow when I see the nurse so there might be some bruising after that, I’ve got a little bit of yellow bruising between my boobs as they’re coming together but it’s quite faint. What cup size are you hoping to be? X

@tasha-c123 Oh i bet you’re so excited to have the strips off! 🙂 I initially was thinking a large C but i think i’m going to lean more towards a D now, i like the look of the high profile implants i think. Did you have yours done over or under the muscle?

@blondepug wow! That is so quick, I think though after you’ve done all the research its best to move quicker so you’re not over thinking and worrying too much too 🙂 How are you doing since the op?

@Rosa – I’m recovering well, still in a bit of pain but it is much more manageable. The first three days I was in a lot of pain though, but I do have an extremely low pain threshold!

I was an AA previously and i’m now a DD (had 500cc unders), so really pleased with the outcome. Heres a pic of me 7 days post op.

What size are you at the mo? what size implant are you planning to have? The PC’s are really knowledgeable so if you have any queries or doubts you’re in good hands xx

@blondepug Wow they look stunning! Cant believe they look that good after just 7 days too! I’m a 34a/b at the moment most likely gunna go up to a D, but after the consultation tomorrow you never know…might want them bigger haha 🙂

It was down to this forum I have chosen MYA too. I can’t believe how supportive everyone is. I’ve kept how unhappy my flat chest has had me or myself over the past 5-6 years. Only since I came on here and realised I’m not alone and there is a easy fix have I become a happier persona already. I’m meeting the surgeon tomorrow with my op booked for April 12th and couldn’t be more excited. Thank you so much to all you lovely ladies who couldn’t be more helpful. I will make sure I keep everyone posted (feel free to add me) over the next coming weeks and will then follow on after to help anyone else in my position. I haven’t even gone to any other companies for other opinions as I’m so taken back by how fantastic MYA and all the MYA patients are!!! Happy happy weeks ahead!!! Sorry for my rambling haha xxx

@tilliebrown19 It really is such a nice little community isn’t it! I’m going to my consultation tonight and think I’ll end up cancelling my appointments with others as I just dont think i’ll feel this confident with them. hahaha don’t worry about the rambling! Its such an exciting time, April 12th will soon be here for you 🙂 I’m hoping I can have mine done towards the end of April, what size are you looking to go to?

@tilliebrown19 Yeh I heard if your stuck between 2 choices most people recommend going for the bigger size, makes sense as i suppose you’d be more disappointed if they came up smaller then you want rather then bigger ha! My Surgeon is going to be Mr Traynor, really happy i’ve got him as i’ve heard so many great things! Provisionally booked for late April 🙂 What price were you given?

I’m booked in for April 29th – having 350 cc so excited!! I’m abit confused about my preop! Do i just go where i went for my other Mya appointments in Manchester or is it somehwere else i see the nurse? HELP! Ha

I’m officially day 3 so feeling sluggish & uncomfortable, but definitely manaegable/bearable and so worth it! 🙂 still can’t believe i’ve done it, & they’ve changed so much already, & i’m in an F sports bra!! Obv quite swollen so theyll go down thankfully lol x it’s amazing how fast it all goes & it’ll be your turn before you know it! 🙂 xx
