    HI Claire

Is your consultation with a surgeon on Friday? There really isnt anything to be worried about. I find it sooo interesting and informative :)

    I am a 34B too, 9 1/2 stone and 5 6″ – what are your stats?

Actually I thought I was a 34B (This is what I was advised at M&S when Bra shopping) but it turns out he thinks I am only a 34A really (Hmmmm confirms how much I want this BA now!! lol)

    xx

    Hey

I had my initial consultation in Nottingham and my constulation today with Dr Singh in Birmingham (it is a little closer to me than Notts)

The initial consultation is fab. Ask loads of questions… anything and everything.. even if you think it sounds stupid :)

R u taking your partner or friend to your consultation? It helps because they often think of questions too – you will be so energised on adrenalin that you forget to ask half your questions so write them down each day until you go :)

Keep in touch – let me know how you get on. xxx

    Hi hun,

Just wanted to set your mind at ease with regard to pain, it’s not as bad as you may think.

I stopped taking pain elief after 4 days/ went shopping after 3. Felt pretty good after 7 days and took my own dressings off, am 10 days post op now and am fully back to normal. My advice would be take 2 weeks just to be sure but don’t worry, it’s painful as you would expect but not that bad.

    AND so worth it.

Let me know how it goes?

Abby is right about the pain, i took paracetamols for about a week but eased off them throughout that and only took the codine 2 days after. Was shopping after a week and went back to work after 2. x

Yes I get 2 weeks off work so I thought I’d use the time wisely! It is a blooming long time to wait though!!
