Consultation Questions

Hi all….lots of questions here ?
I am hoping to book a consultation soon, I live in Devon so will more than likely choose the London clinic.
How long was your wait for consultation? And how long did it last? I am hoping to travel up and back in one day by train.
Do you book pre op there and then? Or book surgery day? Also do you need a deposit on consultation or do you pay after when you book your surgery? Im assuming I will have to travel up 3 times…..? One for consultation, then pre op, then surgery day? Unless pre op is close to surgery day is it worth staying up there?

hey, I went to the Nottingham clinic, my initial consultation was about half an hour, I booked my surgeon consultation there and then, she showed me a couple of dates for the op which I also booked as the date was perfect. She is calling me today to arrange my pre op. remember you will also have a 1 week post op appt xx

Hi @abbyh first you’ll meet your patient coordinator who will talk to you about your stats, what your desired look is and answer any questions she can. She will probably suggest the size she thinks you’ll need and talk to you about deposit (£500) and secure a surgery date if you’re sure you’d like to go ahead. Then work out a surgeon consultation and nurse pre-op date so you have the 2 week cooling off period before surgery. You’ll see the surgeon who will offer a size, profile and under/over etc. You’ll then see the nurse at pre-op who will ask a few questions, take your height weight BMI etc a blood test if necessary and some before photos. This is the route I’ve gone and it’s gone smoothly so far! Hope this helps xx
