I’ve been reading quite a few posts on here- haven’t been for a consultation or anything yet just doing a bit of research & have noticed that the cost seems to vary quite a lot, I’ve seen people saying from £3,100 to £3,900…what makes the difference in cost?

Also seem a bit shocked and worried by the amount of people who have had bad aftercare from MYA considering that they seem by no means the cheapest place you can get a BA!

    Thanks x

Hi Kittykat86. I was really worried today too by the amount of bad comments about aftercare. I spoke to my patient coordinator, Lizzie in manchester and she completely reassured me. I found Transforms customer service really bad and that was before i’d even paid any money so it made me wonder what it would have been like after they had it! After speaking to Lizzie today it reminded me why i chose MYA! I paid £3350 for my op which was for day case (using the £500 discount voucher you can get online) Can’t remember the exact address but a few girls on here have written it. Just google breast enlargement discounts! I’m having Mr Traynor do my op and i’ve heard fabulous things about him, so i’m hoping it’ll go well!

    Good luck!

Mya seem great to me and have a personal number I can contact my pc on any time and she is lovely! I will update once had op. Hope this helps Xx

thanks girls this has been really useful- I suppose the day case with the £500 off doesnt work out much more expensive than anywhere else I’ve looked- although I’m not sure I could do a day case coz I live too far from the hospital I would have to have it at :(

annoyingly I keep missing the calls from MYA to book me in for a consultation coz I am at work! Has any one been anywhere else? How does the experience vary? I’m thinking I might book in at a few places and see which one I feel most comfortable with- I just like it with MYA that there is this forum to talk to people who have had the same surgeon etc.

Hey I had 2 consultations at MYA and one at transform I found MYA the surgeons said they couldn’t take on my case as slighty asymmetric I appreciate their honesty but I think by their own admission if they are saying other surgeons are better then why settle for less?? I went to transform and I felt very rushed I was in the consultation 5 minutes and rushed out. I have decided to go with mybreast the most expensive out of the 3 but I had a an hour and a half consultation….everything was gone through properly with measurements taken of every aspect of my boobs and a nurse was present throughout the consultation. So that’s how I made my choice as it’s a massive decision and i didn’t want cost to be a factor. The mybreast surgeons were recommended on the ugle face of beauty too.

Im booked 20th August good luck girls xx

I had my initial consultation a few weeks ago & was waiting for my surgeon. I was wondering though about sizes/costs etc!

    I saw Mr Traynor @ Manchester – im having 340 Overs :-)

Have u thought anymore about it?

    Menu

Yes thinking about it 24/7!!! lol

I have my consultation on 9th Aug with Dr Singh so will know more after then.

I also have a few other consultations booked in with other companies… just to find out more and compare!

What made you chose MYA in the end? I bet you are well excited.

I just dont know whether to wait until Ive had the babies in a few years…?!?!

Iv been thinking about it since I was 18 and always said id wait. I have now got 2 kids and felt trhe time was right. I know a girl that had hers done and had a baby after and it made no diff, if anything they have grown some since havin her baby! Mr Traynor said it really makes no diff and pregnancy doesnt alter them?

I chose MYA because I felt they were freindly, approachable, it was nice place – which might sould silly but it shows they take pride in their reputation and how they impress people. Lizzie @ Manchester is really nice and has a fab way of making you feel really at ease. I like Mr Traynor when I met him tonight and I appreciated his honesty etc. Have read lots of good stuff about MYA on here so it just felt right! xxx

Hmmmm great! I was going to ask Dr Singh about the baby situation as he is the one thats going to know (being the boob expert and all that!! lol)

Good to know your friends havent changed… apparently some times they dont sag it depends on your breast tissue. Very interesting lol

Aw wow I really am happy for you…. you must be so excited. What do you friends and family think to it all? xx

I have only told my hubby, mum and twin sis. They all fully support me, I dont want to tell anyone else and im abit worried what others will say?? Im really hoping no one notices haha as i think its quite a private thing! Im more worried what the in-laws may say than anyone else! Hmmmm!

Defo ask Dr Singh – He will be honest with you, its not as if they are desperate for clients so they have no reason to try and persuade you otherwise!

How exciting – bet you cant wait to see Dr Singh. It felt fantastic when I tried them in, I instantly knew it was the right thing to do.

    Menu

Yeah thats what I am hoping for… the ‘knowing its the right thing to do’ moment.

I know what you mean about it being a private thing… do you really thing people wont notice the new big boys in town!?! lol PMSL

I do worry about what people will say too… but to be honest, people will judge you at some point in your life anyway, be it clothes, hair, shoes, work etc…. so so what if they have something to say about your new boobs. As long as you love them and feel happy and confident with them so what… they can sod off! lol

Ys I know PMSL I am being very naive to think people wont really notice but im hoping for it be a subtle transition haha! EVEN MORE NAIVE!!

I think others will be okay, just dont want my dad to know or in-laws haha but I suppose once its done its done. Its something I have thought about for many yrs its not like its been done on a whim!

    Menu

Yes I know exactly what you mean… it isn’t just a ‘phase’ we are going through. Parents eh!! lol

Yes telling my dad isnt something I am looking forward to… he he… By the way dad, I am not happy with my boobies so getting some new big ones! PMSL

Hmmmm might work on that one!! ha ha

Well I wish you all the best when you have yours babe. Will be good to stay in touch and let us know how you feel on the run up to it.

Oct you say!?! Could they not get you in any sooner? xx

I chose Oct coz my baby is only 3 months old an they like you to wait 6 months post-natal. Also I start teacher training PGCE in Sept so needed to chose a half term date so I could have time off. I was originally booked for 24th Aug but tbh its a bit soon after having the baby and he is poorly at the mo so I need to get him right first. Yes defo keep in touch – im Jodie Foster on facebook (Manchester Network), profile pic is me with graduation cap & gown on! (But dont mention the boobies on my wall hehe)!

    Menu

Ha ha I shall add you babe on Facebook. Dont worry I wont mention a thing about them on your wall…. dont mention anything on mine either! My dad will walk the wall!! lol

Aw hope your little boy gets better soon babe.

Awwwwwww exciting times ahead eh! lol x
