Cough and cold one week before op!

I am booked to have my op one week today and this morning I have woken up with a sore throat and bad cold!

The nurse at MYA said they may have to cancel my op if I’m still ill next week! I have been counting down the days for this op and I will be so dissapointed if it gets postponed.

Why wont they operate on you if you have a cold??
