could i wear a REAL bra, 6weeks 1 day po?

my 6 week check isnt until nearly 8 weeks and i neeed to wear a real bra for new years eve! what do u think girls will it be ok? my scars look great but dont wanna hurt the twins x

I think you will be fine hun, maybe pop some cotton wool with the underwire or even still removed the wire? Its just the harshness of that rubbing on scars why surgeons say no x

At my 5 week check aysha, the nurse said it was 8 weeks before a real bra. Xxx

Most people are given the ok to wear a bra at their 6 week check so I would think you’d be fine for 1 night, just take it off if you feel uncomfortable. Or try wearing for a few hours today and see how you feel x

At my 6 week check my surgeon said I could live my life normally now! I bought a few Real bras but they rub my scars a little still so I don’t really wear them yet. But I would wear for a few hours for a party etc, just think abt putting something between ur scars and the underwire like cocolove said. X

Really 8 weeks? Yep at 6 week my surgeon said a bras fine, as long as it supports! Xxx

I was told 12 weeks, I wore one for a day at 6 wks and one of my incisions split open at the corner

The nurse told me in th guidelines it says 6, but officially it is 8. It was at my check and i had a lasenxa bag and proceeded t tel her about ny bras, n she said i must wait another 2 week. However, i have been wearing a bra! Xx
