Could kill for a glass of red!

How long did everyone wait before having a few wines? I’m 4DPO and feel like I deserve a god damn glass of wine… or 3 :/

I’ve looked on google and apparently drinking alcohol on the antibiotics given shouldn’t cause any harm…

How long did everyone else wait? xxx

I had my first drink at 5dpo. Just the 1 glass of white accompanied with a meal xx

Does anyone know if you need to cut alcohol out completely in the couple of weeks before surgery? Xx

@melaniew it depends on different surgeons apparently – the last alcohol drink I had was Saturday then my surgery was the following Wednesday- in my notes from MYA it says avoid alcohol 48 hours before surgery xxxxxx

You really should do Mel. But I have 2 kids under 2 that drive me to the brink of insanity and I had a drink every night up until 2 days before my op lol! A couple before won’t be too harmful & enjoy! Xxx xx
