    Hi

I know cui’s have 10yr guarantee and inspiras lifetime against rupture, but does anyone know for how long MYA cover for anything else, am thinking cc but any complications as well, I noticed on another site they have been told 3 yrs, I assumed MYA was just unlimited and you could see surgeon or nurse whenever you want but now I am wondering if I have my facts right?

    Thanks x

    Hi!

don’t quote me on this.. but i think its 3 yrs for “original results”, and 5 yrs for CC?? The other girls might be able to help out on this one?? Or even Mya mod!

My pc told me you get 5 years for cc, not sure about other complications tho :s. Think that’s something I should look into tho as I have my op in less than 3 weeks!!!! X

I’ll ask my PC next week when I see her, I’m surprised I don’t have any paperwork to this effect!

I have cc at the moment but I did’nt use mya for the op,Im 2 years post op,the company that I used said that I am covered for the re op,even though my surgeon dosent work for them anymore they will still allow him to do the re op as I requsted it.Think my after care was originally 3 years.

When I had my consultation I was told I would be covered for 3 years, didn’t say anything about normal results or cc just 3 years cover and in this time you can see your surgeon as many times as you need within reason.

Your PC will always be on hand as well whenever you need to make an appointment hun. Xx

I found this on the questions bit on the mya website: “MYA offer a fully comprehensive guarantee with all implanted procedures which covers you for ALL costs of any treatment required for a 5 year term, this means you will not have to worry about any issues with your implant that may arise in the first 5 years after surgery, giving you complete peace of mind.”

It’s not completely clear but it may help.
