    hey girls,

Ive recently found out that with the MYA loan you need good credit history.

Ive never had any type of loan before and my only direct debit is my phone bill every month, which ive never had problems with.

is anyone in the same boat as me? if so did you get refused the MYA loan or did you get it?

    please help!!

    Hey Stacey

I got a loan through Tesco for my op, it only took about a week to sort out and the APR is quite reasonable although not great as it was the first time I have ever borrowed but its gunna be all worth it. if you cant go through MYA I would defo look into getting a loan or credit card xx

Hi Stacey, I had exactly the same issue as you and got my loan through Tesco just like peaches. Their APR was brill, only 4% whereas Halifax wanted to charge me 23%!! To guarantee that I’d get accepted I put my mum as a joint applicant. Good luck with it! You’ll be fine!! xx

    Hey girls

ive just looked at the tesco loan, the minimum i can borrow is 3000 and the APR is 15.5% for 12 months, so id have to pay about 270 a month, which i probably cant do :( how did you get 4% emzie? if you dont mind me asking how much did you borrow?

Well I went on the website and there is a link to the loans and there was 1 with 4% APR… Maybe it’s gone now, I’m not sure. Borrowed 6,000 (Im having a multiple surgery) paying back £230 a month and paying an extra £500 altogether for the APR. I really don’t know what to suggest to you tbh… AllI can think of is credit cards but theyre really not the best route to go down :s xx

I spoke to my co last night about this is because i am getting a mya loan where i save 60% and mya lend me 40% i have realllly bad credit rating so she said aslong as you have a guarantor on the loan itll be ok! i havent had mine done yet but we will soon see xx

ahhh i think its because i was putting in 3000 to borrow, with most places the more you lend the lower the apr is isnt it. the lowest ive found for my 2500 to 3000 is santander at 11.9% or 14.9%. i was going to try and get the mya loan but if i get a full loan then ill be able to get them done sooner :)!

ill finally make the decision after my consultation tomorrow!! :)
