Hi ladies, got my op in 2 weeks time and cant decide whether to have CUI or naturelle implants? If anyones had Naturelle implants please let me know if there worth the extra money!xxxx
if you dont mind me asking how much extra r the naturelle ones?
xx
Hi Kassie, i ahvent actually asked my pc yet but from what ive heard there between £400-500 extra xx
I was told they are £1000 extra, does anyone know anything about them, its alot more and my pc didn’t seem to think i needed them.
hi girls my pc made out that the cui ones were really good and long lasting. however ive only just booked my op so they may give me an option. what is the difference ive never heard of naturelle implants before xx
i did loads of research into implants before my op and the cui ones are made exactly the same as the natural, there are only a few differences. what did your surgeon say hun? xx
my surgeon was really nice he didn’t say much about the implants. he said i can have overs or unders and i can have 365cc implants. im a 32a x
hi girls, i had the CUI implants over 9 months and they feel nice and squishy
Hi ladies,
For those of yo wondering about the difference, this is what someone else posted on sofem :
“Allergan CUI’s are basically their ‘basic implants’. They’re good quality and come EU approved with a kite mark but they are not FDA approved (so safe to use over here but not in America- unsure why!!) They are strong and made of cohesive gel (so they don’t leak into the breat tissue if they rupture) but their rates of rupture are at about 5%, and they come with a manufacturer’s guarantee of only 10 years. So basically after 10 years if anything happens to them you have to fork out for more surgery AND new implants.
Allergan also produce Inspira ‘Responsive’ and ‘Soft touch’. Both are FDA and EU approved with a kite mark and they also both have a LIFETIME guarantee with the manufacturer. So even after your surgeon’s after care runs out, you will be covered to a certain degree with these. So if at any point in your life, they rupture or need replacing after capsular contraction for example, the cost of replacement implants will be free plus they contribute £700 towards the cost of replacing the implant. You can don’t have to have exactly the same size next time either (i think yoiu can go up of down one size when you change the implants)
The difference between them in terms of cost is I think an extra £450 for responsive and £550 for soft touch. The rupture rates for both is about 1% and the main difference between them is how they feel. They are better quality (hence why you are paying more). I’ve chosen Responsive as they behave like your breast tissue and drop slightly to look more natural, whereas soft touch feel natural, but stay put high in the chest”
Most surgeons seem to say the CUI’s are just as good quality but i suppose there isn’t as much research on the naturelle ones cus they ahvent been out as long. so hard to decide!
xxx
I’m paying £461 extra for mine. The teardrop shape are £1000 more.
Hiya, I went for the natrelle- wanted the best ones that would last. Also, there’s a printoff £500 voucher on a website: http://www.breastenlargementdiscounts.co.uk which I found after I’d booked but it was still ok to use- so it was like I got the better implants for free! Hope that helps x
Yes I did that! So as you say it’s like I’m getting them for free! Are you post op? How do they feel? I heard they feel more natural? And sofen quicker. I love the fact they have more of a range of sizes too. I going for 420cc but thought the 460cc would be too big but in the natrelle range they have a 445cc so I have asked for the 420cc and 445cc to be ordered :o)
Do mya do the naturelle implants then? i thought it was only hospital group who did? xx
Yes they do them. They went through all the types they do with me. They doe the CUI, Natrelle round £461 more and teardrop £1000 more xx
ah no one told me that, thanks
xx
No problem xx
I’ve just had my surgery with MYA and had the natrelle soft touch implants put in. I got 560cc round high profile. This is my 2nd ba and they are really good implants, really soft with a low risk of encapsulation and rupture. I’m glad I paid the extra £561.
Whooo hooo! Thanks annemarie! So glad I’m going for them now x
Hi girls- has anybody got any pictures of the natrelle ones- i have only seen high profiles and think there a bit fake looking- i’m trying to get away with the ‘i haven’t had a boob job’ look [noone can see them anyway with the amount of padding I use [I’m a 32 aaaaaaaaaaaa now
]
I’m looking to have a large B – C cup
thanks x
p.s anyone done the teardrop – think the extra would be worth it? any experiences?
hey i think they r rly worth the extra, i did alot of research before my op, and they are made with an outer barrier shell that prevents leakage into the body if rupture does happen, however the risks are so small of that happening, and the risks of capsular contracture and rippling are reduced. with the lifetime guarantee, i no it only covers the implants bt if allergan think these implants are good enuf to be promoted with that label, it made me think they were the best. wen paying so many thousands of pounds anyway i wanted the best i cud get at the time and felt these were.
plus my surgeon recommended the responsives, cz i wanted them as natural looking as poss and these are the least cohesive out of the inspira range and achieve a natural sloped look rather than more rounded. i paid £306 and 5months post op i wud say it was wel worth it as they are just wot i wanted and are so soft like natural boobs
cant speak for ppl with cui cz some say these are soft aswel so its down to ur opinion xx
george85 – u can add me if u want to c my pics, i wanted the same look that u mention xx
l paid £600 for mine, lifetime guarantee they look so natural
my friend had teardrop and it twisted inside. put me off xx
I have had both the standard ones and the soft touch ones and i found the soft touch ones a lot softer. I do still however have rippling with them(only slightly). Mine are 415cc high profile soft touch implants x
yeaa my surgeon wudnt do teardrop cz he didnt recommend them at all cz they can turn round so easily xx
chelsxx can i ask how much you paid in total for the whole operation ? xx
hi ladys i had inspire TSM 375cc do any of you know what TSM stand’s for i know its soft touch but i dont know what the M stand for ? lol
£3600! yay thats in my budget ! if you dont mind me saying yours look fab and exactly how i want mine to be. did you get any discounts or anything? becuase looking at the price son the web they are over £4000!!! xx
aw thanx rosek, yeaa i got £150 off for being recommended by a friend, and £400 off for late space booking. i had gary traynor n he is fab for natural lookin boobs!
xx
i know i’m answering my own question here but just in case anyone else wanted to know, TSM means textured, soft touch gel and moderate profile lol
chelsxx ur lucky, how did you get those discounts?? xxx
Oh i feel jealous of you girls now! I didn’t get offered soft touch implants, i only really found out about them after my op on here. Would defo have paid the extra for soft touch as mine as soooooo hard still! xx
Do they get more expensive the bigger you go?? And are all you ladies having/had yours done with MYA? Im going to have the soft touch ones and i got told responsives are an extra £308 and soft touch an extra £461 x x
Ask your surgeon what is best for you girls. I wanted Responsive’s but my surgeon advised I didn’t need them. It’s the same type of gel and I had enough dense tissue that no one would notice the difference apart from him. Very reassuring. So make sure your not just spending the extra cash for a very slight difference.
xx
amyk84 – i think its if u go over 500/600cc or around that the price goes up, thats same with standard cui’s aswel. and yea i had mine with gary traynor x
janet – anyone can get recommended by a friend, feel free to pm me and see my pics, and the late space offer was just something that was on at the time. its only on every nw n agen xx
thanks for letting me add you Chelsxx!
I; have done a lot of research but now confused haha!
so naturelle/soft touch. whats diffenece?
So if I don’t go for teardrop [in case they rotate] whats the most natural round implant and whats moderate projection?
Hi- george85 Ive got the same questions as you! i really like the natural shape of my breasts but at an ‘only just’ 32AA I want and psycologically need (!) a larger bust…but want them to look and feel as natural as poss. I don’t want the up top rounded ness. Any info would be great….and as to cost, which surgeon etc.
thanks!! xx
Hi Jangledania
I had my consult with Surgeon yesterday and glad I got a bit clued up before hand- Chelsxx knows her stuff so good to chat with her.
Ok I am a 32aa teeny tiny but also have a very small frame and small shoulders so anything too wide would look fake. I wanted the op this year to wear a bikini and feel confident but with a pair where they look real and medium size – Giselle/huntington whitely gorgeous model type boobs which can still look a D in a padded bra for both looks! etc etc
I saw Mr Adamo who specializes in tear drops [he’s italian so does many in europe] its more common in UK for girls to opt for round over anatomical but I am definitely going anatomical because of the shape – round do not drop at all- even though some people say the gel moves to the bottom- it doesn’t.
In the London clinic Adamo said 90% of the staff have anatomical [tear drop]- and they would know right! these are 1000 more [with soft touch] but worth it in my opinion.
I have been offered 255cc anatomicals to get me from aa-C. Could go for 295cc which is next step up but could be really big Adamo suggested 255 for a natural look.
I hope that helps! xx
