dark brown mark on bridge of nose after rhinoplasty?

Hi,

I am now 4 weeks post op, and at 2 weeks i noticed the right side of my bridge has gone a darker shade than my skin tone which now makes my nose shape look a bit crooked. I have tried to cover it with a little foundation powder, however just wandered if anyone else has come across this also and if so will it disappear. The nurse mentioned that it could be bruising, however it’s appeared after all the bruising had gone so a bit concerned.

I’ve not had this op but my best mate has. She said it can happen cuz of UVA but will settle down.

After u have it done u r meant to wear at least factor 15 sun screen on ur nose for at least 6 months because it is very sensitive to the uva rays or whatever they r called. Maybe it is because of that? My just used a moisturiser with factor 15 in it.

Im over four months post op honey,I still have slight discolouring on the bridge,it is fading,not sure what it is ,but its getting better.xxx

I,v got that problem to i,v got a line running down the middle but thought we cud,nt put any thing on our noses?? thats wat Dr G said do we have to wear SPF?
