Hi girls, im 21 and newly single for the first time in years! I had an uplift in july and i have just met this new guy! he seems really sweet and i see the possibility of this turning into a relationship! i do want to take things further with him, but im really nervous about my scars! as i had an uplift there is quite a lot of scaring that is still pink/red and its not the most attractive thing in the world LOL i thought having my boobs done would get rid of all these worries before sleeping with someone new but i now have new but different worries ie scars which i never had before, i know they will go in time. but i was just wondering how long u girls waited b4 u felt comfortable to be intimate with someone new after ur uplift or BA xx all responses welcome would love to hear all your opinions and funny stories LOL xxx

Does he know about the op?? I remember when I was first with my husband on one of our very first dates I asked him what he thought about plastic surgery…thankfully his views were very much the same as mine and I felt comfortable to tell him…when the time did come when we wanted to get jiggy…I didn’t think twice about it! x

Hi hunni, i think when it comes to boobs solong as there’s something to fiddle with men really are’nt that bothered, i have always been self concious about how one boob is quite a bit bigger than the other, my boyfriend of 3 years didnt even notive until i mentioned it 2 years into our relationship! it’s the main reason i want a BA, one boobs a small B and the other is a large B. try using silicone gel on the scars, or biooil and if it really bothers you at first you could just apply a little concealer over the scar lines, i’m sure he’ll think you look fab!! xx

Hi Christy, I’m having an uplift in Dec, I’m a bit worried about the scaring also, but I’ve seen my nurse’s and she’s had hers done for about a year and a half, and you can hardly see hers now. Do you have any pics of yours you can send to me? Just wondering what to expect in the first year etc – jfstr134a@aol.com
