Hi Ladies, I had my breast surgery yesterday. I travelled to the New Victoria Hospital and was given a very warm welcome. All the staff were amazing, from start to finish. They couldn’t do enough for me.
I had removal of the implant and a new one put in, total capsulectomy and a breast uplift!! I was in surgery for nearly 2.5 hours. Dr. Giannas was brilliant, so easy to talk to. I’ve had to come home with the drains still attached to me, as there is quite abit of discharge from both breasts. They literally gave me a carrier bag to carry them around in, so I’m limited to what I can do. Pain is bearable, but I’m not able to do much and I’m keeping on top of the painkillers they gave me.
Appointment on Thursday with the nurse to have drains removed and tape taken off my boobies.
Good luck for your surgery ladies, you should be fine xx
