Day 10 . Incisions weeping

Hi. I had my first shower this morning and as per nurse instructions then removed my steri strips. When ive taken them off there is a small amount of blood on one and weepy type stuff on other. Just a little. She put strips on 2 days ago and said tey had knitted nicely. So obviously something is still
Slightly open. Is this normal, and is this what makes the scabs once strips are off and air gets to them
Or should they be totally dried and sealed x

I shouldn’t worry about the blood & scabs mine were the same? I’m 4 weeks post op and still have got scabs coming off after my shower? Think of how long you’d usually have a scab for? As for the weeping im not so sure? I’d book to see the nurse again if your not too far away from the clinic? Otherwise I’d pop to your gp? See if they’ll prescribe some antibiotics??? I have a bit on my right boob that’s not healing as quickly as the other bit just give it time! xx
