DAY 12 POST OP PHOTO'S UPLOADED…. HOWEVER HAVE A PROBLEM THAT I NEED HELP WITH

Hi Guys.

I had 410cc Unders & i’ve just uploaded some more photo’s upto day 12 however need some help please.

On a couple of the photo’s i’ve uploaded there are 2 with my scars that have had no steri strips on them now for 2 days. However they are raised and lumpy!!!

Could you please have a look and tell me if this is normal and if so will it go flat?? (Panicking)!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, how long before hyper sensitive nipples get back to normal????

They feel like razer blades and are sooooooo painful, just can’t bear anything touching them!!!! (currently folding up tissue to put on them to protect them against my macom bra)!!!

Please help.

Give your nurse a call. Just let them know this and they’ll advise if you need to come in or if you can do something at home. I wouldn’t settle until a professional told me.

I’ve heard cotton wool is also good for padding between bra’s and nipples. Hope all is well soon.

I see what you mean but as I’m post-op I’m not sure. I really hope you get everything sorted out soon.

I would say not to worry – only because on my last c-section I remember having a raised area very similar to yours and now you can’t even tell where it was anymore, phone nurse if you’re worried though xx

I guess I feel I don’t wanna disturb the nurse for something like a scar.

Haven’t even got nurse’s number. Do I just ring the Mya london or should I of been given a different number?

I had 2 cards – 1 with pc munber and 1 with nurse number (my consultation etc was in cardiff) but if you just phone London number they should put you through to nurse xx

hiya fairydust, dont worry, mine went exactly the same, prob a bit worse, they were awful to touch and could see the lumpyness under vest top, but the scabs dropped off eventually smoothed out, it does take a good few weeks thou x
