Day 13 post op – uplift and implant (300cc) beware the close ups!!!!

I’ve uploaded some new photos to my album for anybody intruiged to see uplift scars. I’m 13 days post op… my surgeon was Mr Traynor.

I’m pretty happy with them, but am waiting for the left one to drop a bit.

Beware, there are some REALLY close up shots of nipples!!!

Lol! I’m 5’6″. 10 stone. Size 10. Was a 36b empty c! Had 300cc overs and am wearing a DD sports bra.

I didn’t have staples… Just dissolvable stitches! I didn’t like the sound of staples either. Mr T did originally say he might use staples but decided on stitches in the end. Not really sure why!!!

Can I add you too? What’s the difference between stitches and staples? x

Staples are literally like a staple gun… And stitches are like stitching ur skin back together like a piece of cloth!!! Can’t describe very well! Maybe google pics to see?

Hi pmc, can I add you? I had uplift and 260s with Mr Traynor but he used staples. I would have preferred stitches given the option, but he decided staples would be best unfortunately! Would be interested to see how they look with stitches!

Nicola, don’t worry about getting staples removed, your boobs will still be a bit numb and its just more of a tug than pain! The nurses are brilliant at what they do, it took no time at all. Although I have to say, prepare yourself before you actually see them with staples in. I nearly fainted when I first seen them because I didn’t expect there to be so many! They had to lie me down and get a fan blowing in my face!

Added everybody, no probs. Will take more photos soon as they have changed a fair bit (now 9 months post op almost). Absolutely best decision of my life.
