Hey ladies, sat here all evening with an ice pack on my right boob as it seems so much more swollen. Been to sleep, not the best nights sleep I’ve had and now woken up and feel like it’s bigger? Is this normal or is it just gonna keep growing??

If you are worried contact your nurse,we do expect swelling after an operation, but if you are concerned ring your nurse honey that’s what they are there for.xxx

Aw honey, bare with it. Mine felt enormous last night, especially if i bent forward. Seem a bit better today. Think it is normal as they’re settling x

I found the swelling and bruising lasted many weeks things were changing all the time until recently and I’m 14 weeks now. As Tina says the nurse is there if you are concerned xxx

give your nurse a call… the most reassuring thing they said to me was to remember that each boob is its own seperate operation… they’re gonna heal seperatly at different rates. my right boob is defo bit more swollen than the left ;)

i head about the “day 3” thing. to be honest. i think day 3 was my worst day.

bare with it. it’ll be worth it in the end. xx

I had the same prob with my left boob, I was in tape for 4 days which was v ucomfortable as the pressure built up under it from the swelling, and I had days where I was in quite a bit of pain. I’m 2 weeks po today and they are still v sore and although I haven’t got any visible bruising I feel very bruised under my arms and around my ribs. I don’t think I slept properly for almost a week, and it was day 3 that I gave up on my painkillers because they were making me feel so crap. From personal experience all I can say is that it got better for me but it wasn’t an overnight change, things went slowly for me but we all heal at different rates. You will get there, but as the girls said, speak to the nurse because they are great and will be happy to help you. Hope you’re feeling better soon x
