Day 8 PO and feeling fantastic!!

Hi ladies pre and post op just thought I’d update you.
I am 8 days PO today after having 380 partials last Wednesday. I am honestly feeling fantastic and have been since yesterday morning. I feel almost back to normal apart from a few odd things I find still feels strange like being unable to get things from the top cupboards, cannot lift up my 16 mo daughter yet. The worst thing is not being able to drive yet as it makes you feel like a prisoner of your own home even though you feel well lol. Saying that I think I would be able to drive just too scared to do it until I’m with my hubby.

Hi, Lenna , I don’t quite feel ready to drive. But when I do, I don’t think I’ll be able too as they say no heavy lifting for 6 weeks, I’ll not be able to lift my 20 month old into his car seat he’s a tone! I’m gutted as it’s the 5 weeks looks like I’ll be walking! Lol xx

Awwww hun 🙁 my youngest is 16 months but luckily she’s only about 19lbs so is really light. She’s a little climber too so hoping she can pretty much climb in herself.
How you feeling other than that today? X

I know, I’m wondering if he could do that too, I’m sure he could as he is a climber aswell. I cannot turn my back on him and he is climbing on something. I’m feeling really good actually I done the school run this morning but walked slowly. The only thing is at the minute is the weight And with them been behind the muscle when they tighten my shoulders and back ache, but other than that I’m fine, all went well yesterday at my week check, incisions healing nicely. Defo Sarah- had a few rough moments but overall I’m very surprised at how easy it has been.

Yeah Stephanie under the muscle is meant to be so much worse isn’t it but sounds like you are coping amazingly! When do you next have to go back for another appt?? Do you have to have your stitches removed or are they dissolvable?

I’m there next Thursday. No they are dissolvable stitches, although they will get trimmed next appointment. I do feel 100 times better today. Xx
