DAY AT 1ST TRUST.. DISASTER SO FAR :(

I am not normaly a person to complain. For a start I should have been here yesterday but Mya cancelled and changed today only 1day but I had arranged child care…

Got taxi 1st thing, to be told off the driver there was 2nd pick up wouldn’t have been a problem but wud have been nice to be told…

Arrived at 8oclock was told at 8.30 mr traynor would be along soon still sittin 2 and half hours later found a nurse who told me He wont be long…

Finally he came to see me to then tell me

THEY 4GOT TO ORDER MY IMPLANTS!!! Wtf?? I am having implants which they 4got to order them 😮

So upset why couldn’t it be straight forward xx

Omg!!! I’d be sooo gutted! They should give you a discount or something atleast for messing you around! I’ll be devastated if anything like that happens to me!xx

Yes been on the phone to my pc but to get it sorted they r goin to try to get the implants here today for me to be last op. if not will have to be done tomoro but I paid for over night so I could rest after op they said I wouldnt stay in if it was tomoro. Nobody’s still not be to check everythinks been sorted or to check I am ok. I expected a lot better from Mya x

how an earth can they forget to order implants for a ba?! i cant belive that , whats happening hun will you still get them today?xx

thats terrible !!im sure it will all be sorted for you hun who orders the implants your pc? how can they forget?? iv got my op on tuesday and have a wter infection so am waiting to here back from mr traynor to see if it can go ahead!!

I bet your absolutely fuming! think I’d actually be crying right now if that was me! Awww I hope they manage to get it sorted soon, that amount of stress is the last thing you need just before an op!xx

I was Katie then felt silly but a was so gutted waited so long to come. It’s just worrying me now incase the aftercares just as bad a hope not tho. Thanks girls wouldnt be so bad if I could eat lol. could sit starving till 6 to then not even get them done till tomoro got picked up at 4.45 this morning aswel x

I’m just a tad annoyed also…. I’m in room 4 in first trust and first mya forgot to book my transport therefore a driver was found last min last night then asked if I would share, I said no coz at the end of the day iv paid for transport and when I asked if I’d get a discount they said theyl transport me on my own….. So now iv been sitting here all on my own since half 10, no ones been to check in on me to see if I’m ok and traynor hasn’t even been to see me yet?? Is it normal to pay so much foe something yet have to wait so long on the day?? I’m a tad fed up, rant over xxx

I was just left from 8 till half 12 some1 came to admit me at half 8is. I ended up goin to ask the nurse. I know what ya meen about your transport amy i was the same not because am a bitch but y should ya share with a stranger when you have paid soo much money. I think they might have over booked today. there’s 10 ops booked in app a don’t know if that’s the normal but a was suppose to be in yesterday I think they might have just squeezed me in today x

Zoe, I feel for your situation, none of that happened to me on my day but Amy, in response to your comment, I had a similar experience at the hospital too. My admission time was 8:30am, and was left in my room hours, in the end the surgeon didn’t come and see me till 2:30pm and then I heard nothing from no one until nearly 5 pm, finally went down to theatre at 5pm, and I was SUPPOSED to be a daycase too, ended up having to stay all night.

They had to put me on a rehydrating drip before they’d administer the GA to rehydrate me as I’d had nothing to eat and drink for 21 hours! Was fuming as the nurse could of at least of offered me a sip of water in the morning. Instead of leaving me that long!

Anyway, just think, it might be crap right now, but hopefully you will both be waking up with beautiful boobies later on today xx

Yeah exactly I wouldn’t have minded a stranger sharing if I was gonna be compensated for the money iv paid for transport, ands yes mine was supposed to be yesterday aswell so theyv probs just crammed us all in which isn’t very professional. I also feel weak and shakey now not having anything to eat or drink just sucks, hope my new boobs makes up for how shit I’m feeling xxx

hope this gets sorted for u hunni puts a downer on ur boobie day but hopefully they’ll get to u 2day n ull have lovely boobies by the end of it xx

Omg that’s really bad I had a consultation with a different group who seem jus as good as MYA now I’m in a dilemma who to choose cuz I no I can get them done in June MYA telling lucky to get July? Waiting to meet mario to see wot size I can be want to look natural! Anyone had any problems with him?

Well similar to this was posted not so long ago,but it is not always MYA thats at fault,and im not sticking up for them,its the hospitals too,and thank god you can post on this forum,otherwise MYA would think everything is all good when its not.

The excitement and nerves of having a procedure can be quite intense without the added stress of disorganisation that leaves you ladies in this situation,this needs addressing as this is not the first time this has happened,you are paying a lot of money for private health care,this is not good.really hope that this is sorted out and you come out of this with perfect results.good luck ladies,big hugs,xxx

That is awful hun, I really feel for you. Mya should be better organised some people save up for years for their op and expect better service! I hope you get sorted and they compensate you. xxx

Hey Amy yeh got sorted in the end had my op at 4.30ish then I found the night staff where lovely nd helpful compare to the 1s day staff. How about you all done?? X

I must have had mine just before you Zoeeee, im sooo poorly tho, no pain just cant stop being sick, iv still not eaten since 2 days ago and couldnt stop being sick in the car on the way home, but othert than that… my boobies are everything i wanted hope yours went ok xxxxx

Hi Amy…I saw you in the waiting room with my Mam before I was taken to my room. Did everything go ok for you? I was going to come and see you but I didn’t know where you were! Zoe I am glad you got sorted in the end…there were loads of us in there yesterday! x
