Day case?

Day case or night stay, can anyone tell me is it worth paying the extra 4 the night or should i save money and opt 4 daycase?

am going to stay the night but it’s up to you really.how much money are you going to save.

I originally paid for a night case then changed my mind and booked as a day case, we still had to stay close to the hospital in a hotel so stayed in one that was two mins from the hospital in the car and paid £70….. so really you save about £400….. i had my op done in highgate and wouldnt rate the hospital very much, they weren’t very friendly at all…. i found it more relaxing being in the hotel to be honest…. having said that my surgeon was excellent – haven’t got any complaints about him….. they’ll only keep checking yr BP and temp etc if you stay in….. I had my op done at 2 in the afternoon and got let out at 10pm…. could’ve gone by 7pm but had to wait to see my surgeon before I could go and he was busy doing other ops…. it was a pain waiting round to be honest… I just wanted to get from there.

Yeah that does help thanx, what hotel did u stay in as this is what i plan 2 do. I would have 2 pay 4 hotel anyway as my husband is taking me so may as well save some money, if any probs i’l only b a short distance away.

I will b paying 3350 compared with 3650 so quite a difference.

we stayed in the winchester house hotel, it wasn’t that nice to be honest, but was suitable for one nights stay – it was £70…. it was above a pub that servced food, the howle idea of me booking to saty there was cos I thought we’d have food before going to bed lol…. only they stopped serving at 9 and i didn’t get out of hospital till 10 so we went for an italian meal at a restaurant just up the road from the pub lol…… Day’s inn is close by I think and it’s only about £50 to stay there if you book online. I paid £3350 too, instead of £3750 which i had paid for the night stay they gave me the £400 back though as soon as I said I didn’t want to stay overnight.
