Day Case

Heyy does anyone know how long they keep you in for on a day case?

all depends, my admission was 10am, was meant to go to surgery at 12noon, didnt get to surgery til 1.05pm then ended up getting out at 8.30pm, your supposed to get out earlier but coz surgery was delayed i didnt get out til later

I was admitted at 7.30am, was last on the morning list so went to theatre at 12pm and was discharged at 5pm. Xxx

lol I never came round til 4.30pm and you have to stay in 4 hours after youve came round

I was admitted at 7.30 op was 12.15 & discharged at 5pm xx

I was admitted at 07.30am, was in theatre by 10:15am, discharged by half 9 at night. I had morphine after I came out of theatre and was totally not with it at all after that, I didn’t make much sense to anyone, so they kept me in for longer lol xxx
