Day case appointment, how long are you there for?

Hi girlies got my appointment booked for the 29th of November I’ve decided not to stay overnight, does anyone know how long roughly you’ll be there for? Xx

it should be the day … hope fully if your op goes fine and your feeling well you be home cuple of hours

You can go a few hours after your op if you want. They like you to go to the loo and have something to eat after your op and then you’re good to go. They don’t rush you though. I was there for a 7.30 admission and left at 5.45 x

Who is your doc? I was in by 9:30 on Sunday but mr kazazzi likes to see his patients before they leave, so I had to wait till the end of his list about 6:30 pm, but I liked that he checked on his patients before they leave

I think all mya surgeons check on you before you leave. I had Mr Singh and he came to see me at 2 x

i was at Highgate for 9am, OP 11am. seen by surgeon 4pm Home by 5.30pm

oh this is strange i never got offered for it to be jst the day i got told i have to have an overnight stay and im having mr kazzazi

I had day stay today, got there at 6.45 and went down for 8.30, back in the room for 10, but had reaction to ga, nothing serious just nausea and pain, my surgeon wad going to discharge me at 2 but I stayed as I had to have lots of painkillers, I finally decided to go home 6.30. So all depends on how you are feeling, they told me about 5 hrs after surgery is standard x

I was in at 11.30 and didn’t leave until 9.30pm… Was a long day! Xx

got day case did anyone stay in the area after there op or straight home dont have a clue what is best to do!? xxxxx

I had my BA yesterday. Arrived at 8 op at 10 back in room for 11. Mr Singh saw me at 2.15 and I was is discharged just before 3. You have to stay for at least 4 hrs from when you get back to your room I was told x

I was today, check in at 8:30am, op at 11:45, back in my room for 1pm, Mr Traynor came to see me about 5pm, discharged just before 8pm, fab day xx
