Day case or overnight

Hi
Am I right in thinking that’s it’s cheaper for a BA if you have a day case? I have only been given 1 price BA or the operation £4450 and won’t know time of admission till a couple of days before so how have they priced it? Have they given me the overnight price and will I get money back if a day case or do they already know I’m a day case. I really do not want to stay overnight either
