Honestly- money aside this is a huge op for your body and you want the best treatment and care possible. Staying over was 100% worth it for me! The hospitals are like 5* hotels and you are checked on constantly so you can be totally reassured everything is normal x

    Menu

yeah that is also a good point. Ill definitely talk it through with the surgeon! How much extra was it for u to have that over night stay x

Extra 350…but the extra help, attention and medicine i got was amazing x

Extra £400 I was told so to me it’s now worth it, but I hate hospitals… They only managed to get me in one 20 mins before I had my little boy and I was home 2 hours later. Not sure why I hate them, lol but I’m sure you can think of better things to spend £400 on, maybe a bit of winter sun to show your new boobies off in a bikini! That’s what I’m doing x

    Menu

Well I have my consultation on saturday so I suppose I see what they reccomend! They are all valid points tho :s Its just such a big decision to make! SO excited tho :D x

    Menu

To be honest i wouldnt bother with the night stay, reason being because if they dont think your body is well enough to go home they wont send you home so why pay the extra, if they need to keep you in they do so free of charge!

    Menu

Yeah I suppose they are not going to send you home if you are at risk! Have any of you had it done yet…..just wondering how painful it is :s bit of a wimp x

Yes exactly… book the day case and if u aren’t well enough they keep u in anyway! That’s what happened to me!! I’d not been up out of my bed or wee’d, or kept anything down so there was no way they were sending me home… boobs were fine, my body didn’t like the GA!!

I did, I knocked me out for day and gave me some much needed rest!!

    xx

    Menu

Did they charge u anything extra? Luckily ive had a GA before n was fine…..so crossing fingers. U happy with the results u got from them? x

    Menu

no its free of charge if they keep you in x

I live over an hour away, stayed in a hotel the night before, but came home the day of the op, was discharged from hospital at 3.30pm. Went back to the hotel and left 8pm as was meant to be staying there, but wanted to go home was so much better for being home. xxx

    Menu

ye think if im gonna be in pain I would rather be at home too x

    Menu

For me it is no question to stay at hospital. For the sake of £400 (a couple of nights on the lash) no contest! I would rather have the piece of mind.

I react badly to operations tho…. usually wake up with tin foil & oxygen masks!

roll on this time next week!

    Whoooop
