day case question… if you dont mind :)

just a quick question really im in for a ba day case, so im assuming id have to b there for 7.30am??? and id be in first or second maybe depending on how many cases there are???

also how long is recovery time after the op, does it kind of depend how you feel on the day.

thing is i cant get a lift home till 7pmish will the hospital be ok me staying there till then even if im ready to go home earlier??

bit of a trek for family otherwise cz they can only drop me off an pick me up and its a 3 hour round trip for them, but if im picked up at around 7 then my stepdad works half way there so its not too bad.

any info on other girls as day cases would be much appreciated xxx

i havent had mine yet but im planning on a day case and they advised that i should stay in a nearby hotel over night so that if i need seeing by a professional post op then im nearby. i would imagine they would expect you to leave as soon as your out of your woozey state and they ensure your ok to go but best to speak with someone from MYA x

Hi Hunn if your a daycase your op will be in the morning/early afternoon. I was ready to go home very soon after the op. I stayed longer than necessary for my lift to pick me up so you’ll be fine waiting. Also, they tend to keep you in 4 hours after you wake up and you have to go for a pee before you can leave! x

I was a day case and arrived 7:30 was 6th to have my op at 11:45 and went home after hollyoaks at 7pm xx

I had op same day as christine. I was daycase. Was 3rd to theatre and had op at 1050. Nurses said for me to tell them when i was ready to leave. So left at 7 x

asif Dr T got u and 2 others in in an hour, it must of been like a conveyor belt. xx

im not looking forward to being there all day if im one of the 1st in but least theyll be ok with me hanging around

I did i def went in at 1050, as i watched jeremy kyle then a little bit of this morning! Plus i member looking at clock.before i wentLol… I thought that when i seen ur time lol cos i woke up in recovery and asked what time it was and it was only 12. Fishhhyyu do u think traynor actually done us all??cos the consent form sys that the surgeon maynot be the surgeon operaring on u!?

OMG i didn’t read it lol! i think he will of dun mine cos of the sizing issue, i hope he did anyway, Dr t came in at 10:45 and said i was going down 11:30 but he was late cos i was clock watching and when i was in my room i was dropping in an out of sleep and the nurses were saying how quick he’d been cos the last one was ready to come out. xx

hi i had my op at 7.30 but didnt go home until 11pm it all depends how the o goes and weather you have unders or overs i suppose, if you have drains you will need to stay for quite a few hours then an hour after you had the drains removed.

He def done mine cos he was with me when i got put to sleep and told me to trust him!! God wonder how he done soo many!! He also said to me that he would try 380 and if too big he would put 340. After op he said i had morenroom than he thought and he’d got 380 in. I think hes moved u up the list to 4th hun!! Lol. Cos nurse said he changes the list about to suit him! Lol. I also probably have read the sheet wrong. Hahaha… Xx

lol well either way i love ma boobs haha, i must remember to read things before signing them though xx
