day case, staying in hotel??

Hi Ladies
I read on so femine forum that you could have a day case and stay in a nearby hotel (as I live to far to come home), does anyone know if that is an option?? It would work out cheaper and I could stay with my partner in the hotel?? anyone know?

Yeah u can do that, i stayed as a day patient as i lived 5 minutes away and didnt want to pay the extra

we booked a hotel but when we came to leaving the nurse said dont worry about being within 1 hr of the hospital so we came home, 2 1/2 hour drive but was great to be back in my own bed, also think the journey was alot better as still had ga/morphine in me so was nice and dosey xx
