Day case?! What time do you get to go home?

hi ladies!! im going in next wednesday to Highgate as a day case, what time can i expect to go home? My boyfriend is panicing because he thinks i should’ve paid to stay over night. Has anyone had a bad experience?

i went in as a day case – my admission time was 7.30am but i was second on the list so didnt get taken down to theatre untill 10.45 – the surgeon came back to see me in my room at about 6pm and nurse said i could leave when i was ready, but i felt really lightheaded and sicky when i got up so didnt leave untill after 8pm and they were absolutely fine. the nurses wont let you leave untill you are ok! xx

hiya hun i had mine done a week ago today. I was allowed to go at 8 but had to wait around for film crew for some filming they were doing so i eventually left at 9 xxx

i had my ba in highgate a week ago,

admission time was 7.30 i went into theather at 9.30 back in room at 10.30 and felt great not much pain, i ate quiet alot and chatted about , i was more than ready to go by the afternoon so left at 4pm . i could have stayed longer if i felt i needed to ..but 4 pm was just right went home and had a nap in my own bed !!! no problems at all, not much pain either as those painkillers that they give u are very good.

Ah thats good to know, my fella is panicing that something gonna go wrong!! He is a worrier ha ha!!! Im just so excited!!! I definately would prefer to be able to sleep in my own bed the first night!! Has anyone got any pics? xxx
