Day Case- What to take to hospital? Usefull tips?

Hi Girls,

Getting very excited about my op, although not for 6weeks lol!!

What did you take to hospital for day case? Do you pack for overnight just incase? Macom/sports bra? Clothes? Soap? Snacks lol….. Soo many questions.

They should give you a sheet with what you have to take but I took:

Vaseline – I had really dry lips before op

Pillow for the journey home

Sports / Macom bra

Nightdress & dressing

Slippers (I just took pumps but you need something to wear on way to theatre)

Snacks in case your hungry after op (although they offered my food quite soon after)

Toiletries

Magazines / iPod

Loose fitting clothes to wear home – button up shirt as you won’t be able to get anything over your head!

You also have a TV in your room and they don’t mind you using your mobile xx

Take overnight just incase lots off things to keep you occupied mags mp3 phone etc u will be sat around for hrs xxx

defo take ur vpillow as once i came out off surgery it was needed x

i made sure i had chewing gum, water for journey home, charger for phone,

dont wear Jeans x wear Joggie bottomes and get a button up PJ top as you will find urself livin in it after ur op x
