Day cases – How long did you have to wait from admission to having the surgery? Thank girls

Hi there i had ba 2 weeks ago now on the weds..they told me 2 days prior to this on the monday xx

Sharon i think its usualy just 1-2hrs..i,m in for mine 2morrow so will let u know x

i was admitted at 10am, and i went down just after 12 xx

i was admitted at half 7 and went down bout half 9 xx

My admission was 7.30 and went down at 9 I was first down though so don’t know if people have to wait longer sometimes! It goes really quick anyway you have to see your surgeon, anesthetist, nurse and get changed etc!! X

I just had my surgery yesterday. My admission time was 7.30 am. Got seen directly by nurses and my surgeon (Mr. Adamo). They checked everything was fine, I had to change and by 8.45 am I was down by the theatre. At 9 am I had my surgery. Two deep breaths and I was asleep. Woke up at 10 am and at 3.15 pm I was discharged. Hope this helps! x

Had mine ystdy, was admitted at 11am and went down 1.30 as Mr Singh was running a little late x

So I guess I will have to wait about 1 1/2 to 2hrs. That’s not to bad! 19 days to go!
