DAY CASE,WHAT TO TAKE TO THE HOSPITAL??

Got my op fri&I’m a day case. What do I need to take to the hospital with me?? I know I’ve got to take my sports bra but what else??

I’m having a day case in a couple of weeks, and wasn’t sure so asked the nurse. She said that even if you’re a day case, to pack as though you were staying over night ‘just in case’ of worst case scenario, e.g that nurse wants to keep an eye on you a bit longer or something like that. So to pack an overnight bag, pjs, fresh clothes.

magazines,something nice to eat when your ready for a treat,slippers,dressing gown,camera,drinks with straws for after,tooth brush and paste,a bobble with no metal bits on if u have long hair,money and credit card for whoever your taking with you if there having food as they dont take cash x
