Im having a day case, It was £400 extra to stay overnight and we are less than a 2 hour drive. I know I will sleep better at home. Plus After the Operation I know I will be sleepy and have been given pain killers so the following money will start to feel sore and would rather not be travelling home then. x

i had a day case, and saved £400 doing so, but spent £59 on a hotel which was literally a few minutes away from first trust, as i was told they like to to live within a 30 minute drive of the hotel just in case (iv read on here of others travelling 2 hours home after a day case, but i was told 30 minutes or stop in a hotel)

plus if you need to stay in for any reason, its free, which was the perfect peace of mind i needed (and a nice saving for new clothing and underwear) xx
