Intrigued to find out if majority of you are paying for overnight stay or if most of you have gone day rate? i think its a good idea paying to stay overnight, but my issue is the op is going to be in london and i have a little boy at home, my partner is meant to be coming with me to support me so no one to look after him. we were discussing wether even most people do stay over or not? and wether any of you went home and were fine! please let me know xxxx

    Hi,

I had my op about 10am in the morning and didn’t come around properly until the next day, i can’t imagine having to consider walking further than the bathroom in that time. Was ok th next day to walk to the car etc but it’s a major op, i underestimated how intense it would be. Don’t want to scare you or anything but i’d pay the extra every time.

I have a little one too, my partner took me and then became single dad for a few days lol

I would always advice u go for a daycase, u save at least £400. I did it this way, there was a big delay on my opp day so I wasn’t ready to leave so they kept me in for free. If u don’t feel ready to go they will keep u in. Saves u money. I was totally fine next day, washed and packed bags myself, no prob or pain x
