Daycase ladies…What did you take with you?

Hi my op is on Monday (little victory dance!) and with my daughter being at nursery today I wanted to get everything sorted while I can so what did you take with you, I dont want to overpack a bag or underpack one at the same time!

Throat Sweets

My Lipsy Tracksuit

I’m gonna buy some senacot (if that’s how u spelt it) aswell incase I get bloated.

Can’t think of anythin else x x x

Oh yeah I’m gonna get those dermatix scar sheets aswell their supposed to be fab at reducing appearance of scars x x x

I took:

Button up nightshirt (just stuck my jeans back on for going home)

Slippers

Make up and contact lenses for after!

Book

Snacks for the boyfriend

A bottle of juice for after

I went quite light I think. Forgot my dressing gown, they just gave me another hospital gown to cover my bum xx

Ooo never heard of those scar sheets…where do you get them from??

I have most of these things on my list, must remember dressing gown, thanks ladies x

hahahaha sour cream yeesssssss lol i love them!! i actually ate a full tube after my op! nurses were creased !! bet i smelt luuussshhh xx

FOOD!! If your hospital is anything like Park Hill they won’t bother to feed you and you’ll be there god knows how long.

I had a change of clothes inc shoes inc make up for after the op (and face wipes)

I left my V pillow at home , it felt too big to carry about. I was fine in the hospital bed with my buttons that made it go up and down. What a big kid!

Also. When your in there, if your hungry, BUZZ! You’ve paid for it and you’re entitled to eat.

I only got tea and toast and wishing I’d piped up. Was admitted at 10am and out by 6pm. I didn’t get any dinner
