I have now booked my ba for 1st may as a day case at london highgate. i mainly said day case as it was £400 cheaper!

but just wondered if thats enough time in hospital and if people felt ok to leave after just 1 day? ill be staying in a local travelodge overnight instead.

how did everyone feel after? what would you advise?

I was daycase and was fine to leave :) but if your not they keep you in anway like my booby buddy bethy she was daycase by nightime she was still bit ill so they kept her in. If I was you I wudnt pay for a overnight stay cause if you do end up needing it they will just keep you in xx

I was overnight and glad I paid extra as I couldn’t have been bothered doing the drive home after my op (well as a passenger!) I did have a nipple lift too tho so I felt completely safe and got pampered there too which I defo don’t get at home lol x

I has mine yesterday and was a day case, I was really poorly so stayed until 11pm (think they would’ve kept me in if I asked) but they don’t charge if they decide to keep you in xx

Hi hannypops, I was a daycase with beckie90. I picked daycase cos it was £400 cheaper and booked a nearby premier inn (£29!) to stay in overnight. As it happens I needed to keep my drains in a little longer so I stayed in over night which I’m glad about because for me personaly, I wasn’t ready to leave yet. My husband still stayed at the premier inn. It’s a win win situation really, being a daycase :) xx

I had a lift and Ba and was absolutely fine! Went out for dinner in London (covent garden) post op as was staying in London for a night and travelled home the next day by train. I was buzzing with excitement post op. I think if yr ok with anaesthetics you will be fine xx
