Deciding size from choice offered and type (textured or smooth) of implant?

Hi all!
I had my surgeon consultation and was finally measured for the first time! 32AA, 5ft 1 and size 6, with Mr Mahdi. He recommended 225, 250 and 275cc Dual Plane for a desired natural look. I’m of the impression I should chose the largest as it seems most people seem disappointed after they stop swelling, but they did feel large when trying on! Any advice on this??

I have another appointment soon and need to decide on type of implant – I was offered the textured implant with softer gel, so they stay in place but have a natural feel? Any reason to go for the usual smooth rather than textured??

I had my op with me Mahdi on 14th January. So I’m 5 days post op now.

I’m 5 foot 5, 55kg and also a size 6. He measured me at a 30/32a so very similar. I’m quite pear shaped too.

I was offered 250, 275 and 300. I was really worried about going too big and very nearly went for the 275s. But I went for the 300s on me mahdis recommendation that normally people wish they had gone the biggest they could and on the assurance w from him that if on the operating table the 300s looked silly he would go for the 275s.

I’m really happy with my choice 5 days post op!
So I would say go for the biggest mr Mahdi offered x

Oh also I went for textured as they are less likely to sag and less likely to get capsular contraction

I haven’t used it personally as I didn’t see it until after surgery but on instagram I saw a surgeon Mradrianrichards is his IG handle has a free try on 3D thing where you can try on the sizes on your body using a picture image and it gives you a rough idea of how it works/looks once you get it done.

Obviously I haven’t used it so can’t vouch for it but it may be helpful for you to take a look.

Exciting! Mine is the 8th March but I’m still undecided on sizes. Would you be able to upload pictures after your surgery if you feel comfortable doing so? ☺️ I’ve been offered the same as you x

I’ll message you my number if you want? I’ll WhatsApp before and after pics! FYI the first post op appointment with a nurse will be 1 week after surgery, I think that’s when they take all the strapping off and when I’ll get a first proper look at them! X
