I have a huge delayed wound under my nipple and have to go back twice a week. I had an uplift and implants. It’s so open and look bloody awful to be honest. They won’t let me treat it at home but I’m spending £60 a week in travel and I’ve just paid near on £ for the procedure. It’s almost Christmas! Just runnin out of patience feeling annoyed and helpless to be honest. My right one looks great though! X

I’m in a similar if not the same position as you. I had a reduction 7 weeks ago, my right breast is my problem one, I have a superficial open wound that starts just under my nipple and ends before my t-junction incision. I’ve been going in every other day for dressing changes, though after being reviewed by my surgeon today, he’s chosen to persevere with the dressings and see how the wound does for a while before deciding whether I need to go back to theatre to be restitched or not. Fortunately I’m local to my clinic.

Yeah I think so! I have the ones that have silver in to help stop the bleeding which I think it finally working. There’s not been any improvement for about a week and the wound was noticed nearly two weeks ago. It is really frustrating and I’ve been trying not to get disheartened. All the while it’s not getting worse, I feel like it’s not so bad and it seems the silver is helping.
The nurse thinks it’s likely that I will need restitching but they want to give it time first x
