Dental work before surgery?

Is it ok to have a crown fitted a wk before my op?xx

Call your pc and they will check with the nurse for you mate. Cos when you have your pre op and when the nurses do your checks in hospital before your surgery they ask you about 100 time if you have any fillings, crowns, caps etc x

In the hospital they ask you at least 6 times before you go down for surgery!

You fill in your form at reception and I think it was on there, then the nurse asks you, then her mate asks you, then the anaesthetist asks you, then the nurse asks you again, then when you are waiting for surgery just before you go into theatre the surgeons assistant asks you! x

Yeah it should be fine, but you may want to have the crown fitted after the op because the tube they put down your throat may knock it.x
