Depressed :(

I’m 6 days post op today, most of my swelling has now gone and I’m feeling pretty crappy as my boobs now look much smaller than they did! I was happy with them before but now I really think they are too small, I had 265cc from a/aa cup and I’m only wearing a b cup sports bra as it is but now they look smaller in clothes than they did when I was wearing a padded bra 🙁 I feel so down about this, they don’t look as big as when I tried them on before my surgery and mr traynor said beforehand that he thought I would be a c cup but I honestly look like an a cup!! How is that even possible!? I hope they will look better in a normal bra. Do overs change much over time or start to look fuller? I feel so down can’t sleep or anything.

Hiya babe, I feel the same. In my sports bra I look smaller than I did in my padded bras but I’m wearing an E bra (from a B) and if ur wearing a sports bra they r designed to strap is own right so they are bound to look smaller. I bet when u get them into a wired bra that will look so much different!!

Hey Megan, I really hope so cause at the moment I feel like it was a lot to go through just to be this size. I was really tiny before so I know I should just be happy but I feel really small and don’t wanna end up an a cup, how depressing!? Anyway I’m hoping they will change shape and look fuller as time passes… Hopefully! Xx

ill be honest babe i was unsure even after such a drastic change, plus they looked so stuck on and fake but im 2 weeks po now and they r falling into a more natural place already. I promise once u get them in a nice balconet bra you will wonder what you were so worried about

Aw cheers doll, I hope so! I tried to put some pics on but it wouldnt work. I’m pleased you’re happy with yours now, sounds like you’ve got a good result. I know the sports bra won’t be helping, it’s so unflattering! Doesn’t help that the meds have made me bloated and I look super pregnant too ha. Xxxx

Aww sorry to hear your not happy.. Hopefully they will get bigger within time.. i may go 295 if this is the case but saying that my friend had 265cc and she said she hated them at first as they were too small n far apart but now she loves then it took her 3-6 months for them to settle in. X

Is that right. I hope that’s the case for me cause I literally feel so rubbish right now it’s awful 🙁

Awww, Belle, mine were like two little tennis balls far apart on my chest as first. They dropped after about a week and got bigger and softer. Hopefully yours will too hun – give them time to drop and fluff x x x

Aww babe this is definately completely natural think we’ve all been through a bit of the booby blues, I’m unsure on mine there’s still atleast a cup size difference but then again ones dropped & had more work so may still be swollen but as long as we all have each other for support through this I’m sure we’ll learn to be patient & will adore our boobies eventually 😀 xx

Thanks ducky, you’re a doll. I just can’t believe how small mine are since the swelling went down, really hope they fill out a bit! I’m sure yours will even out too just have to give it time don’t we (easier said than done!) hope you’re healing better now hun, you must have the patience of a saint! Xxx

Ok I don’t really know what to do anymore, my boobs are getting smaller by the day they just keep shrinking 🙁 I feel so so down can’t stop crying. I can’t believe how much smaller they are than I was expecting, I doubt I am even going to be a B cup 🙁 I have my 7 day post op with the nurse today and I’m dreading it as I can’t even bear to look at them. I am starting to regret even doing this at all 🙁

Awwww, hun, you’re still only 7 days, give it time. They probs need to drop, that’s all x

aw no0108, I honestly don’t think it’s going to make much difference. I think I underestimated how small I was before and thought it would make more difference than it has. I wish I’d gone for 295cc although I would probably still be small. Nothing I can do now though xxx

Aww lovely girl if I could give you a cuddle I would 🙁 I’m avoiding looking at mine a month p.o aswel they’re still so different I just can’t seem to understand why I only had 40cc difference if I had a cup size difference & a cup size is 150cc? But I am still desperately trying to be patient just hope n pray they continue to change, honestly though hun we are still such early days, you’ve still got lots of changing to do, you’ll see 😉 good luck at your post op ap, your nurse will make you feel so much better xxxx

Aww thanks ducky, means a lot. I know, I was told a cup size for me was 100cc so I was expecting to go up at least 2 cup sizes. Baffled! Yours look fab in your pics doll, I think you will be really happy with them eventually 🙂 I’ll let you know how the post op goes xxx

Belle you’ll be fine. I wanted to go smaller and was panicking they’d be too big. I went for the bigger size in the end and they look smaller than I expected. They just need time to settle. I bet they aren’t getting smaller, you’re just thinking they are. Give them time. Remember the size of the implant that was put in us still there. It can’t disappear anywhere or shrink. It’s just settling. X

Thanks Janet. I know I just wish I had gone a bit bigger, like around the 300 mark. The biggest I was recommended was 295 though cause I’m so narrow on top. Are you happy with yours Janet? Just had my post op with the nurse she took my dressings off (which really hurt!?!) and said they are healing nicely. I can have a shower at the weekend apparently (hooray!) she also showed me the before and after pics and I definitely have a big increase in size as I forgot how tiny I was before (flat as a pancake, literally). She said she thought they looked nice and thinks I would’ve regretted going a lot bigger. Apparently I have a lot more dropping to do as well. So whilst I still feel a bit embarrassed that I’m left with such small boobs after surgery, I’m just going to be a bit more patient and accept that no one looks great in a sports bra anyway! Thanks girls, especially ducky and no0108, you’ve helped me along xx

Belle it will be fine. Listen to the girls. They will fluff out. Tell your nurse everything.
