Dermal piercings/ skin divers and surgery?!

I have dermal piercings on my stomach which i cant take out
And cant take the tops off! Has any1 else had surgery at preston that has dermals?
Do they let you put tape over them??!

Yeh i did and a few ball closure rings which i just couldnt get out so i left them in, the nurse said she would tape them but they werent taped when i got put to sleep or woke up so dunno if they actually did but i left them in anyway! X

I was so worried my surgery will get cancelled wen i get there
Due to the piercings ? Xx
