Dermatix sheets

Hi,

Has anybody used these? Do they really work? And does anybody have any before and after pics of scars that i could take a look at please.

I cant use it just yet but have heard the sheets are better than the gel. xx

hey hun theres a lovely chick on here who goes by the name of BOOBILICIOUS i spoke to her today about dermatix sheets and i have seen her pics she doesnt hav a scar honest i had to think twice where the surgeon put the incision cuz i cud barely see it. its 50 50 whether i will develop a keliod scarring but i aint taking any chances. I brought the clear sheets today on ebay for 22.80 for the biggest size which i think was 20×30. from what i have read and seen they defo work. I am having my op next week and i will cut the sheets to the incision scarring once my incision scabs have gone so say after 4 weeks.

maybe you can message BOOBILICIOUS im sure she will help you she has been realy nice to me.

i’ve bought the gel it’s the same principal you just need to keep topping the gel up i plan on using it around 4 weeks post op too (i’m jus a week post op right now) x

Hi, I was told by the nurse not to use anything until she had checked my scars at the 6 weeks check so will hopefully start using them after this. You have to be careful not to use them too early as they will cause the scab to come off too early which can actually make the scarring worse

Omg I have never heard of this stuff!

I had an uplift so would be great to use!

However may wait till I next see the surgeon to check it is ok to use?

I’m going for my 2wk post op on monday so i’ll ask then when i will be ok to use it. xx

My nurse told me to use them 6 weeks post op but I started using them at 3 weeks. I only did so though because Mr Aurakzai uses glue and not stitches so I didnt have any scabs after 2 weeks anyway. I went for my post op check on wednesday and he was really pleased with them…..said to continue as I am now with them as they are clearly working. He also advised massaging the scars, until its on the verge of pain, so quite hard. He said that he used to run a keloid scar clinic in London and the majority of the treatment was done through firm massaging of the scar on a daily basis. Ive started doing that before I put the strips back on on a morning and thankfully I still have numb breasts so I cant feel it!!!
