Hey girls,
just needed somewhere to rant. I was told by my PC that the cost of the procedure goes up on the 1st March and to get my deposit down before then, so I have literally skint myself for the past two months in order to have the deposit saved. I went into barclays today to extend my overdraft (student account) and the woman was a horrible, patronizing bitch & said there was no way it would be accepted. I told her it was for rent, not a boob job but still no. I was only £280 away 🙁
Looks like I wont be getting them done in time for my holiday anymore. Is it pathetic that I sat outside Barclays and cried :|!?
xxx
Try for MYA finance xx
Aw sweetie thats awful why dont u call them and try over the phone maybe u got the wrong person.. i have been told no before so went in a few weeks later and they sorted it no questions asked.. if that doesnt work could someone not lend u that money.. im getting more things done and i was also told about the price increase yesterday x
Aww bless you, I would have reacted exactly the same but probably would have cry infront of her! Xo
Thanks girls 🙂 I’m working two jobs & going to uni so its just upsetting when the one thing you relied on is refused. I am doing MYA finance, the one where you pay 50% now and then the rest over 10 months. I’ll get there eventual xx
I’ve done that too 🙂 it’s horrible seeing all that money come out of your account at once but the monthly payments are reasonable xo
Like the girls said, try again, if you get a different person, you most probably will get a different answer believe it or not.
My hubby taught me this! It literally depends on the day they’re having whether or not they choose to help you!
Fingers crossed hun xx
Aww no this is awful! Surely MYA won’t let you go just £280 short!! Maybe ask them if they will reduce the price slightly as you are struggling with the last bit! Fingers crossed for you! Xx
I don’t think they’ve told anyone, my PC keeps telling me that there doing it but hasn’t given me a price after they do..
Think it’s a way of getting you to book as I was originally having op at Easter and was never told of the increase
How much extra do you have to pay?? If its £400 or less you should try WONGA!! They’re really good and money will be in your account few mins later x
Abigail, do what Jennie P suggested! Believe me they’d rather knock of £280 than loose the huge amount we have to pay! Fantastic idea!
Worth a shot – they can only say no! xx
Yeah – but only do Wonga if you can pay it back within like 30 days or don’t they charge you like 3000% apr or something ridiculous, I remember it was in the news!
No it’s fine. I’ve accepted 🙂 and it’s going from £ to £ so £ increase, it’s not much but it’s makes my monthly repayments £30 more which covers my internet bill haha xx
I’m going to ring my PC tomorrow and ask, no harm in asking. I just want it sorted. Thank you all for replying xx
If they know you’re that close and really serious about having it done, surely they won’t let you walk away! Fingers crossed for you! Keep us updated! Xx
Try & get some money off the price MYA gave you, they will do it cheaper for you they did for me & i booled at the weekend! I got quite a lump sum off! xx
Just day u will go else where to get the procedure done as u have found it cheaper they will soon do something about it then xxx good luck or u could always try your local credit union they give instant loans and u hardly pay any interest bk on it xxx
Say I meant stupid phone lol xx
Omg I would defo try knock money off ! I did try and I managed . Mine was only £ so they should
Be ably to knock it down x
Hi I went in last week and they told me it’s going up £. Making it around £ for BA. Try and explain your concerns financially to mya and they may let you off a little, if you really wish to use them. Xx
My pc told me it was going up £ in March. I had to pay £ to secure a bad in a London Fittzroy and then I applied for mya 0% finance and paid a £deposit yesterday. If you go on money supermarket type in your details and they can give you different loans / credit cards that would be suited to you xx
