did any 1 have there opp on there own!!!

hia girls, just wondered if any 1 was on there own when they had there opp, meaning no family or friends being there with you?

the only person i could have come with me is my dad, but dunno if thats abit weired lol xxx

I read in the patient guide that if you dont have anyone come with you or give you a lift home or to the hospital then they might pospone their surgery.

I dont know if anyone has been on their own.

Im kinda doing the same thing because i dont think im gona have anyone avaliable.

thanx hun for getting bak to me, i do have my dad dropping me off and picking me up for defo, i just would of liked the company while im in there thats all, but didnt no if i shod have my dad there though lol, gd luck for you 2 hun xxx

ashley, i went on my own, i had a cab come to collect me from the hospital to bring me home. i really wanted to go on my own as didn’t want any fuss from anyone. didn’t really want to thing about it to much so just went to sleep until it was my turn (didn’t feel that hunger).

Hi, I went alone.

Other half dropped me off at 10am & picked me bk up at 7pm.

I loved it snoozing when I needed to instead of him nagging at me to go home x

My best mate went on her own, she didn’t want anyone there. I don’t think I could go on my own but I’m a wimp haha xx

i went on my own, i was sopossed to go down at 10am but ended up going down at 7pm so there was lots of waiting but i just watched tv, read some mags and listained to my ipod, the nurses were lovely and popped in for a chat and the time soon passed.

I’m going by myself, hate people waiting on me & seeing me when I look shit lol x

i was there all day on my own, my bf dropped me off at 11am then picked me back up at 7pm i think having had my bf there all day with me would have made me nervous as hes a bit of a wind up, i much prefered to be on my own, i went to sleep before my opp which is something i wouldnt have been able to do if i had company xx

I went on my own and I was an overnight. The thought of it was terrifying but I actually enjoyed my day! My boyfriend collected me the next day x

wow good to hear that it is actually better to be on your own, i will just do that – listen to music, watch tv, read mags and pig out haha, ooooo and sleep lol, great to know that im not the only one and you all prefered going on your own, thanx to all you girlies mwah xxxx

I had my op yesterday – went in taxi by myself early morn, stayed all day on my own, then got taxi home on my own 7pm was fine!! xx

i wish id of done that megan! my mum n bf moaned the whole time n i woke up n didnt go back to sleep atall i was fighting it so they didnt have to sit ther bored!! x

MYA transport there on my own, had the op and MYA transport back …. fabulous!!!

that was handy then, nice of mya to do that hun xxx

I was also alone. Got a taxi there on my own n got a taxi back the next day on my own. X

I’m going alone on 28th Dec. Just don’t want anyone fussing (or knowing!). Much better, I say!!

Hun, someone dropped me off and stayed for an hour with me but then I had another 1.5 hour wait till my op and then had it and I was alone and got a taxi home alone… it was fine, I watched TV, chatted to my lovely nurse… no problem. xx

And I was an over night case too btw x
