did anyone else get itchy after their op?

I’m one day post-op and I’m well itchy over my body, except my boobs! Oh and these darn surgery socks aren’t helping lol. Nurse said to wait til tomorrow to take them off, can’t wait for my legs to breath again. But if this is my biggest complaint I’m happy ha!

Yeah it’s a reaction from the GA. My legs itched loads and I couldn’t reach so my BF had to come and itch my legs all the time lol. It should go away very soon especially when you take those silly socks off. Hope you are recovering well congrats! xx

I was the exact same except my bloody face and only for about three hours after op take Piriton or allergy tablets won’t cause any harm as nurse gave them me xx

Morphine makes u itch too Hun xxx

I was itchy too only lasted about a day xx

Hope the Ga and morphine leave my body soon hate this itching. Glad its not something to worry abt tho. Hopefully today it will stop.

and the tramadol makes you itch and the codine, they are all opiate based, like the GA, day after my op, i couldnt stop itching it was worse tahn having sore boobs so i stopped all my meds xxxxxx

No way, now I’ve gotta choose between my sore boobs and my itching . I’ve got co-dydramol is that similar then? X

No that didn’t make me itch it was the morphine or ga

Just take Piriton hun some cold cloths and it will go x

Tramadol is morphine, codeine shouldn’t make u itchy. How r u & your new boobs anyway?xxx

this is totally normal hun. I promise it’ll wear off after a couple of days. Apparently the anasthetic makes you like it where as you want to scratch your skin off! Bare with it chick xxx
