Did anyone else panic about something going wrong post op? ?

So my op is in 4 days and I’m not worried in the slightest about going under the knife or anything pre-op really, just want it over with, however I worry more about something going wrong after and my friends who have had it done ate like ‘it’s very unlikely etc etc’ but being on this forum and reading so many disaster stories I’m worried it will be my luck that something will go wrong after? I know there’s nothing they can’t fix so I’m not worried MYA won’t leave me in a mess but I have children and a very busy work schedule that I don’t really have the time for mistakes….does that make me sound strange? I guess I’m just hoping to be one of the lucky ones ☺️

Any thoughts or advice? Or am I being silly?

No way your not being silly at all. This is me all over!! Although I’m nervous for the op it’s not the actual op I’m nervous for it’s the things that could go wrong after! My partner is even saying cmon think of all the positives lol my brains been over worked thinking about it all. Your not alone!xx

Oh good ☺️ i mean I 100% want it done, as I have nothing and I don’t feel like a woman, but I do worry about the after bit, my husband thinks I’m fine the way I am bless him but I’m not happy so I’m going for it, can’t believe it’s happening on Monday eeekkkkk!

Yeah I’m literally in this Monday ? can’t wait, fingers cross my recovery isn’t too bad. 30th isn’t long either I bet you’re excited ?
I panicked about this to my surgeon and he said if I keep talking like this he wouldn’t operate on me ? which is true I shouldn’t be thinking of the worst but I can’t help but do.
I’m have Mr Marcellino he’s a lovely man. My PC is Cloe and she’s lovely too and has kept my mind at ease from the start I hope she continues post op xx

I have both the same PC and surgeon as you 😀 But I’m panicking a lot because I have some health conditions and I’m afraid I’ll have complications…or something going wrong while under.
Unfortunately I don’t know anybody in the same position, I’m just hoping they will give me extra reassurance 🙁
