Did anyone else take months to drop?

Hi

Im 12 weeks post op and my left boob still hasnt dropped my right is perfect but my left is still hard, high up and much smaller, im guessing because the muscle is pushing the implant down. Iv been wearing my band to bed, tried massaging and even given up exercise and still nothing. iv took picture weekly and its not changed. im going to see the surgeon next week. was/is anyone else in a similar situation?

Hi vanessa88. I’m exactly the same, though I’m just 6 weeks PO on Friday. Keep wondering if mine will ever drop to match the other one. Have you seen your surgeon since your op? Did he /she give you advice? I keep worrying that I have CC… Can I add you please? xx

I saw a nurse at my 6 week check up and she said its probs just taking its time, but since then there has been absolutly no change. I keep thinking its CC also, i keep googleing pictures of it haha. yeah iv got pics so you can see the difference

I’m 16 weeks and mine are still high and round, so its nothing to worry about, they can take a year to fully settle xx

Mine look quite similar to yours vanessa88, with the height difference. I have a hematoma though in my left (heigher) boob and I know this can be a factor in getting CC so it’s worrying me! I’ll be seeing my surgeon in next week or so, so hopefully he’ll be able to advise me xx

i am 4 months post op and mine have droped now and settled they do take time, some earlier than some, be patioent you eill get there , x

ah thats made me feel a bit better lol. just hopeing one day il wake up and they will be even.

Hi ladies not been on here for ages,i’m almost a year down the line now and my left boob has dropped but my right one is still high on my chest,i’ve read that once your past a year it’s not gonna drop on it’s own,i’ll prob end up having revision surgery to help the right one drop,still love them though and in a bra not noticable.xxx

Hi girls I’m the same, although I am only 5 weeks PO but my left seems higher harder and a different shape to my right, almost square shaped!! Its really worrying I phoned the nurse at just under 3 weeks because it was worrying me so much and I got an appointment with my surgeon, he said there may be a number of factors as to why its like that at the moment, could be tight muscles or still some swelling but he did say I would have to give it time to settle as it was so soon after surgery and that if it was still the same after 6 months then he would re assess then. Is it ok to add you girls????
