Just wondering if anyone suffered after their op? I hate getting sick and I’m hoping I will be ok. Only had G.A. once when I was 7 and can’t remember anything about it. Most stories I read people seem to have been fine x

wen i had it previously its made me really sick. so i told the anaesethist (haha or wotever they are called, cant spell that! ) that i was worried about needing to be sick bt because of the pain of the new boobs i would hardly be able to be wrenching over a toilet! so he sed he would give me a ‘good size dose’ of anti sickness before and it worked :) i did feel sick a lil bit when i came around, bt it soon went away. just tell them u have had it before and been sick off it xx

i dint consider how the anesthetic would make me feel but my god it did knock me sick, i woke up from the op around 1pm, and was dizzy and sick (water) all aft til about 9pm, i couldnt eat anything or get up lol it was horrible!! i slept that night and did feel better in the mornin, still a bit dizzy, but as soon as i had food i was sick again. i cried i felt that bad, i bet the nurses thought i was crying over my boobs haha. that day i came home and i just slept most of it. i guess it doesnt agree with me. i think chels has a great idea about the anti sickness medication!

I was sick all night in the hospital. I lay on the bathroom floor throwing up. They eventually injected my bum with anti sickness and that was the end of that!!!! :) sorry for the graphics. X

I dont come round from the GA very well. I take hours to wake up. But agree ask for the antisickness before going under, really does work.

i didnt react very well to the anesthetic, so i didnt actually get out of bed til the following morning (came out of surgery at 1pm)

that morning, i went home felt sleepy all day so slept lol. the following day i was fine could do most things as normal xxx

think some girls felt fine straight after the op xx

Hmmmm, I’m thinking I’ll just have to grin and bear it, it’s worth the pain! I’ll be one of the ones that is sick for sure but will definitely be asking for the anti-sickness meds I had no idea I could do that. I suppose it’s just like suffering through a really bad hangover for the day and then a lifetime of benefits afterwards instead of just an empty purse! x x
