i heard you cant wear tampons while haveing your op done.

I was asked right b4 my op if i had a tampon in? not sure why tho xx

tnx girls, hmmmm, curious now with the tampon ill go ask. cos i remember som girls on here were asked to wear the disposable knickers, u cant wear that if u got pads on now that they dont want tampons……….. 🙄

they do that with any operation… not to sure why …but im sure if you tell them when u go in then they can giv u something suitable to wear. im sure they get it all the time hun so just ask them xx

I had my ba yest and u r able 2 wear tampons u just have 2 let them know in questionnaire but it’s fine xxxx

I was told I had to wear a pad, not to sure if different hospitals have different rules. It was fine though and the nursing staff were very discrete and helpful. Take lots of wet wipes etc! Good luck with your Op
