did anyone stop or are stopping taking the pill for boob op??

i know the pill can make your breasts swell so do we stop taking it?? if so when can we start taking it again?? thanks everyone xx

Heya , you have to stop taking it between 1 week or 2 weeks before cant remember exatly, because it thins ur blood. u have to stop taking vitamins n things aswell. xx

about 2weeks or 1 week after op hun. when u have the pre op with a nurse she goes through everything like that and u get to ask lots of questions. xxxx

had my pre op with nurse ast week but no mention of it… never mind at least i now know BIG THANK U x

aww never, my pre op was fab , found out so much .. Phone your Pre op nurse she will confirm the date but i stopped week b4 and week after ill start back xxxx

Hey girls, you don’t HAVE to stop taking the pill for your BA, it mainly depends on your nurse/surgeon. It’s all to do with the consistency of your blood, and they want to minimize the risk of clotting as much as poss. Loads of girls on here carried on taking it, although I’ve come off because I’m trying to drop as much weight as poss before mine lol. And when they do ask you to stop, it’s usually for 2 weeks before, and 2 weeks after x

I didnt stop, and Iv been fine lol the disadvantages of coming off it outweighed the advantages so I just chose not to and I told my nurse and the surgeon that and they didnt kick up a fuss about it xxxx
